We have one 12 acre patch for you to enjoy OUTSIDE of our admission area. This is where you will want to pick your pumpkin if you do not wish to pay admission to our activities. You pay only for the pumpkins you select.

The prices online are the lowest we are able to offer this year. Due to Covid and increased unexpected costs, we apologize but there are no additional discounts available for any reason, regardless of group size. We have worked hard to keep access as low as we possibly can to make Jacks affordable for everyone. We hope to see you this year!

There are still many pumpkins on the farm, but temperatures consistently in the freezing zone is not great for the pumpkins in the patch. It is difficult to carve a "pumpsicle". This is why many of our pumpkins had already been picked before this cold snap and are in storage.

For the rest of this Fall, Waldoch Farm will be operating the Garden Center. The field of pumpkins will be closed because of weather conditions. We will not be opening the Corn Maze and Maze Area. The Joyer Barnyard will remain closed. As we exhaustively looked into all options, this decision was made with public safety in mind. We feel confident that we can continue operating safely at this limited capacity and hope to be a part of your fall traditions.

The pick your own pumpkin patch will open on October 2nd and operate each weekend in October with a limited number of weekdays. We will post the hours and days soon. There are pumpkins in the Garden Center now.

Daily Hayrides to the pumpkin patch included with admission to Joyer Adventure Farm. The hayride takes on a scenic tour of the farm through the woods and beautiful fall foliage to acres of pumpkins where you get to pick your own pumpkin. The area surrounding the Pumpkin Barn (before the white fence) is available to you at no charge. This area offers the gift shop, a limited food venue, produce, the Singing Corn Show, picnic tables, and seating where you can eat your donuts and other purchased food items as you enjoy the beautiful fall weather in the country.

Kids will love hunting through the patch to find their favorite pumpkin, along with great photo opportunities! Entry into the pumpkin patch is included in Pumpkin Fest admission, and pumpkins are purchased on the way out of the festival.

Those of you who don't wish to pick-your-own, or do not want to purchase admission to the Pumpkin Fest, our Country Store is abundant with beautiful, pre-picked pumpkins right out of our fields! Feel free to browse our rows and rows for the perfect pumpkin!

Ride the hayride to the Pumpkin Field. Right next to the field, you will find Pumpkin Vallet. Here you will check out pumpkin wheelbarrows and head right into the field to pick your perfect pumpkins. After harvesting your perfect pumpkin, bring it back to Pumpkin Vallet, and we will babysit your pumpkin while you enjoy your day at the farm. At the end of the day, drive through Pumpkin Vallet and pick up your pumpkins.

We have never reached our capacity. Those who visit us are able to spread out in our 80+ acres of public accessible area. Online tickets are encouraged for a faster check-in. If you do not purchase your tickets online there are tickets at the gate.

We want to encourage folks to purchase your ticket in advance so we can get a better count of how many guests (make sure we have enough pumpkins, and our food vendors can plan for food). Plus, it helps us to make sure we are keeping room for everyone to be safe and have enough space. The online ticketing program asks you to select Morning or Afternoon to help us gauge traffic flow, but your tickets will be accepted any time during the day. NO. Pumpkins are a separate purchase. You may enjoy our Miners' Pumpkin Patch WITHOUT purchasing a pumpkin, OR you may purchase as many pumpkins as you would like. If you purchase pumpkins online in advance, you will receive a "token" at check in to redeem for the pumpkin of your choice.

Your admission gives you full access to all games and demonstrations. You may purchase your pumpkins in advance and you will receive a token to use to "pay" for your pumpkin. You CAN absolutely enjoy a full day and leave without spending any additional money.

However....we do have food trucks, face painters, and a farmers market that would all require additional purchases. If you want to stop in our Museum Rock n' Gift Shop, that is open. If you want to purchase additional pumpkins or gourds...or if you want to catapult or smash your pumpkin, that would be an additional donation as well. Credit Cards are accepted as well as cash.

Each person age 2 years and older wishing to partake in all the fun activities Howells has to offer, is required to have a Howells paid admission wristband. Individuals who wish to only shop inside the gift barn or only purchase mums and pre-picked pumpkins do not need an admission wristband.
